Hallmark’s 2026 Keepsake Debut Adds More Than 150 New Ornaments
Hallmark is adding more than 150 new designs to its 2026 Keepsake Ornament range, with this year’s main Keepsake Ornament Debut running from 10–18 October.
The release mixes traditional Christmas designs with interactive pieces, established collector series and licensed entertainment favourites. For pop-culture collectors, it is one of the points in the year when ornaments stop being simply seasonal decorations and become another organised collecting category.
More than 150 additions
Hallmark says the October event expands the 2026 line with over 150 ornaments and decorations in participating Gold Crown stores and online. One of the featured releases is an interactive National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Griswold Family Christmas tabletop decoration, showing how far the format has moved beyond a single ornament hanging from a tree.
The annual structure is important. Keepsake collectors can build continuing series over time, while licensed designs give film, television and character fans a way into the range without needing to follow every Hallmark release.
Why licensed ornaments have become real collectibles
A good licensed ornament combines a recognisable moment, a display-friendly size and a date-specific release. Sound, light and interactive features can add another layer, but condition and completeness still matter. Original packaging, inserts and working electronics are often as important to long-term collectors as the ornament itself.
The format also reaches across fandoms more easily than many toy lines. A Christmas tree can hold characters from different films, games and television series without needing a single scale or display system, which makes ornaments unusually flexible crossover collectibles.
What UK collectors should check
The official event is centred on Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark’s US website. UK buyers should therefore confirm regional availability, shipping costs and voltage or battery requirements for interactive tabletop pieces before ordering from overseas.
Collectors buying through the secondary market should also check that any limited packaging, certificates, accessories or replacement parts are included. Interactive items are best tested before purchase where possible.
A wider season for screen-inspired collectibles
Hallmark’s October launch lands during a crowded period for film and television merchandise. ASACC recently covered Doll Haus of Dread’s horror fashion dolls, another example of familiar screen characters being reinterpreted through a collectible format with its own design language.
