Hello Kitty and more than 145 Sanrio friends have arrived on Nintendo Switch in Hello Kitty Party Land, a new all-ages party game from Sanrio Games and Bandai Namco Entertainment.

n

The worldwide launch covers both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Players can explore a colourful town, customise their avatar and move between activities including music-making, farming, fishing, shopping and competitive or cooperative minigames.

n

More than 45 games

n

Bandai Namco says Party Land contains more than 45 casual minigames and board games based around sports, food, music and other themes. It can be played solo or with up to four players through local and online multiplayer.

n

The character roster reaches far beyond Hello Kitty. Official launch materials show familiar Sanrio names including Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin and Kuromi, with the publisher promising more than 145 characters across the town.

n

Who is it for?

n

The simple controls and broad activity mix make this a family-friendly release, but the enormous character roster will also appeal to adult Sanrio collectors who want a digital checklist of favourites. The important distinction is that this is a party and life-activity game, not a traditional platform adventure.

n

Families planning multiplayer sessions should check the Nintendo eShop listing for online-subscription requirements, supported controllers and whether every participant needs a separate console. Physical-edition availability and pricing can also vary by retailer and region.

n

Out now

n

Hello Kitty Party Land launched worldwide on 29 October 2026. Bandai Namco has published an official game manual alongside the launch trailer for players who want to inspect the mechanics before buying.
