Yoshi Costumes Join Nintendo’s Official Disguise Range for Conventions and Beyond
Yoshi has finally joined the official Nintendo costume wardrobe. Disguise, the costume division of JAKKS Pacific, has launched a new range for adults and children as its long-running Nintendo partnership expands beyond Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach.

The official product photograph shows full-body green adult designs with character hoods and orange shoe covers, alongside a smaller child-sized outfit. Exact contents and sizing can differ between listings, so buyers should check the retailer description rather than assuming every accessory pictured is included.

Available beyond Halloween
n
Disguise says the costumes are available through Amazon across North America and EMEA, as well as selected US and Canadian retailers. EMEA availability does not guarantee that every size can be delivered to every UK address, so check the seller, delivery estimate, returns policy and import position before ordering.
n
The timing may be Halloween-led, but this is also convention news. Disguise explicitly identifies conventions, gaming events and movie trips as year-round uses for its Nintendo range. A recognisable Yoshi outfit also gives groups an alternative to dressing everybody as Mario or Luigi.

A Nintendo partnership dating to 2013
n
Disguise began working with Nintendo in 2013. Its current portfolio includes Super Mario characters such as Bowser and Rosalina, while the wider relationship covers The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby and Pikmin.
n
Company president Tara Cortner says interest is increasingly spreading to characters beyond the central Mario brothers. Yoshi is a sensible next step: instantly recognisable, group-friendly and suitable for family costumes as well as gaming events.

Before buying for a convention

Check visibility through the hood, footwear rules, venue temperature and whether large tails or padded pieces are permitted. Convention halls can become warm quickly, and some organisers restrict bulky accessories in crowded spaces.
