Pokémon TCG Pocket: Dual Fusion Is Live — Mega Mewtwo X ex and Mega Greninja ex Lead the Set

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has opened its new Dual Fusion expansion, built around the game’s first powerful dual-type Pokémon cards. The headline additions are Psychic/Fighting Mega Mewtwo X ex and Water/Darkness Mega Greninja ex.

What Dual Fusion changes

The expansion launched on 28 October 2026 at 6pm PDT. Its dual-type cards are designed to create new deck-building choices rather than simply adding another run of familiar single-type attackers. The official launch gallery also previews the new card treatments and featured Pokémon, giving collectors a clear look before spending pack hourglasses.

Six Dual Fusion rental decks are available from launch until 15 December at 5:59pm PST. They include the new dual-type strategies, so players can test the mechanics before committing resources. A separate elite deck built around Dragon-type Mega Rayquaza ex is being delivered through the in-game Gifts system.

Second-anniversary rewards and events

From 29 October through 14 December, players receive a ticket exchangeable for a booster pack guaranteed to contain a two-star card. A 2026 promo reissue event runs until 12 November, while Handy Card Collection Missions continue through 26 January 2027.

The first competitive event window starts on 5 November with the Dual Fusion Emblem Event and Battle Rally Missions. Bonus Week follows from 13–20 November, then Promo Pack C Series Vol. 1 arrives from 17 November to 1 December. Ranked Match Season C1 is scheduled for 30 November through 14 December.

Collector checklist

  • Claim the anniversary ticket before the campaign closes.
  • Use the rental decks to learn the new dual-type match-ups.
  • Check event dates in your own region because the official times are stated in US Pacific time.
  • Remember that TCG Pocket cards are digital collectibles; this is not a physical booster release.
