Rhode Island Comic Con is under way in Providence, and Saturday 7 November is its biggest full day. The official show runs from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, with events spread across the Rhode Island Convention Center, Amica Mutual Pavilion and Omni Providence Hotel.

Saturday opening hours and venue layout

Saturday hours are 10am–7pm. The convention uses three connected buildings, so first-time visitors should allow extra time to cross between celebrity areas, panels, artists and traders. The organiser’s official show-layout page is the best place to check the latest floor plans before travelling.

Selected Saturday guests

The official celebrity list includes Billy Dee Williams, whose listed Saturday signing window is 2pm–5pm, alongside Adam Savage, Carol Kane, Ben Starr, Alec Baldwin and many more. Appearance details can change, so check the live guest page before joining a queue or making a special journey.

For anyone collecting autographs, the organiser says prices are set by guests and may change; table selfies are also at each guest’s discretion. Admission tickets are not refunded because one particular guest cannot attend.

A collector’s plan for the day

• Save the show map and guest schedule to your phone before arrival.
• Prioritise any fixed photo-op or signing time, then build your trader-floor route around it.
• Protect comics and prints with a rigid folder, and leave room in your bag for boxed collectibles.
• Photograph receipts for valuable purchases and confirm whether an autograph includes authentication.
