Spider-Man: Brand New Day is coming home — and collectors now have another date to circle.

Sony Pictures has opened pre-orders for Tom Holland’s latest Spider-Man adventure, confirming the film comes home digitally on 6 October 2026. UK physical editions on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD are also being promoted for the home-entertainment window, making this a particularly useful story for ASACC’s film and collector audience.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day comes home October 6

Sony’s official Spider-Man: Brand New Day page now carries the message “Comes Home October 6” alongside digital pre-order links. The home release follows the film’s huge theatrical run this summer.

The movie finds Peter Parker fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him. Tom Holland returns as Peter, with Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo among the cast. Destin Daniel Cretton directs from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Why collectors should watch the physical release

For collectors, the digital date is only part of the story. Spider-Man remains one of the strongest characters in physical media and merchandise, so 4K UHD, Blu-ray, retailer editions, steelbooks and associated collectibles are the versions worth watching as the home release approaches.

As always, a limited-looking package is not automatically rare. Check the actual edition, retailer exclusivity and availability before paying a premium on the secondary market.

A busy week for Spider-Man collectors

The announcement lands in the same week that Amazing Spider-Man #1000 reaches comic shops, giving Spider-Man fans two very different collector stories at once: a landmark comic issue and the home-entertainment launch of the latest live-action film.
