Marvel Television’s VisionQuest arrives on Disney+ this Wednesday, 14 October 2026, bringing Paul Bettany’s Vision back for the concluding chapter of the story that began in WandaVision and continued through Agatha All Along.

The opening two episodes will be released together in the UK. Disney+ has confirmed an eight-episode season, with double-episode drops for the following two Wednesdays before the final two chapters arrive individually.

• 11 November: Episode 8 finale

Vision, Ultron and a mysterious son

The rebuilt Vision has been hiding from people who want to turn him into a weapon. His search for identity involves consulting AI personalities embedded in his programming, including Friday, Edith, Jarvis and the returning Ultron.

That quiet existence ends when a bounty puts Vision on the run with Thomas Shepard, a teenager who may be his son reincarnated. James Spader returns as Ultron alongside Bettany, with Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Orla Brady, Diane Morgan, Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy among the confirmed cast.

Terry Matalas created the series for television and serves as an executive producer. Directors include Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, Vincenzo Natali and Matalas.
